Hanfia Masjid (Mosque)
This mosque was opened in 1995. It was built by local Muslims who are very proud of the building. Many Muslims worship in house mosques or in buildings that were once used for something else. Even old warehouses have been converted into mosques because they have plenty of space. More new mosques are now being built in Bradford because there are nearly 80,000 Muslims in the city. Many Muslims make regular donations to help pay for these new buildings. From the outside you can observe some common features of mosques.
